The Grand Ritual Praying for World Peace and Prosperity in Malaysia
(22nd September 2010 to 24th September 2010)
According to religion and customs, whenever there’s a completion of a temple, a ceremony known as Ching Jiao is to be held. The significance of this ceremony is to inform the Heaven, Earth and the 3 Realms on the achievement of this building project. This ceremony is also invoked to thank the Heaven for fulfilling the wish of this construction and that the project has been carried out smoothly and peacefully with the blessings of the deities.
Rumah Berhala Tow Boo Kong will be celebrating its Ching Jiao Ceremony from the 22nd September to the 24th September 2010. The special highlight for this occasion is the religious ceremonial prayers by distinguished Taoist masters from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. These priests will preside and perform the blessing prayers for the official opening. Incantations of the Taoist scriptures and divine mantras will be carried out for a continuation of three days.
Besides this, a Salvation Ceremony will also be conducted for the deceased members of the temple who had once served diligently for the temple.
